It was a Wednesday morning Facebook post, asking for a female photographer for a wedding that weekend. My husband saw it, thought of me and asked if I wanted more information. Everything in me said, "no, I can't do this. I'm not good enough." But my fingers typed "yes."
A few hours later, I got a phone call. Portfolio reviewed and liked. Did I want to go to Fischer, Texas, (about a half hour west of New Braunfels) to shoot a wedding? Heck yes!
I trudged around the bride's parents ranch while it rained Saturday morning. There was no sign of clearing while this gorgeous bride got ready to see her man. But that afternoon, just as the ceremony started, the rain cleared, the sun shined, they said "I do" and all was right with the world.
Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Mantovani!
